With winning the gold double medal in Tokyo, together with Sam, my hunger for honorary metal was not satisfied. I also won the race for third place!
In the "small final," I defeated Koji Sugeno. He is from Japan and thus played a home match, but because the stands had to remain empty it was not that much noticeable. He could not use the home advantage: I won 6-4, 6-1.
Because of this result, I take a gold and a bronze plaque on the plane with me. Wonder if the metal detector will beep. And if not, I have a good story on how I got those heavy metals.
