Also big in the Big Apple

Next stop: New York. There wasn't much time to rest from the Paralympics, because like the Tour de France, the US Open waits for no one.

Things went great in the US of A as well! Together with Sam, I won the doubles final against Heath Davidson and Dylan Alcott, you may know him by name. It was 6-3 and 6-2.

Unlike in Tokyo, I did reach the singles finals in New York. Unfortunately, the aforementioned Dylan was a size too big. I don't want to hide behind excuses, but I do it a little bit: I was very tired and Dylan played very well. It didn't work out the way I wanted it to, at Louis Armstrong Stadium.

After Tokyo and New York, it was time to visit another metropolis: Helmond. And there a warm welcome awaited me ...
